What Is a SLURL and How Do You Use It?

Updated · By the Teleport2Play team

Short answer: A SLURL (Second Life URL) is a web link containing a region name and coordinates. Clicking it opens your Second Life viewer and teleports your avatar to that exact place. Teleport2Play generates a SLURL for every game location.

SLURL format

A SLURL looks like secondlife://Region%20Name/128/128/25 or https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Region%20Name/128/128/25, with the region name followed by X, Y and Z coordinates.

Using SLURLs on Teleport2Play

Each game on the dashboard has a Teleport button. Click it, confirm the prompt in your Second Life viewer, and you arrive at the game.
